Deal ya Steal?

JustBooks is having a promotional offer on Timesdeal.com upto 6th May 2012 for new members! Here’s a snapshot – see image below – of what’s on offer. Click here for complete details. Hurry, its a steal, judging by the response that we are seeing since we began yesterday. Refer your friends and family to experience for themselves a JustBooks membership!

Just Books library in Kothrud, Pune  organized a story telling session recently for children below 4 years. Conducted by Ms. Pooja who is also a member of our branch, it was decidedly a fun affair, the highlight being the interactive session where Pooja read the stories with the help of props and toys. At the end of the caterpillar story when in the end it becomes a butterfly, children were really excited to color butterfly and take it home with them.

You can expect more such programmes from all JustBooks branches now that Summer holidays are here.

Riding the crest…..

Could one announce one’s arrival in Chennai in more dramatic a fashion? ;)

JustBooks now arrives – in style! – let us add, in Chennai. All Chennaites can now expect the top of the line book borrowing experience that we offer in 8 other cities in India.

Adyar is our very first branch. Expect other branches at a location near you. Very soon!

We love to experiment – with formats (full, satellite, pocket, corporate), in cities (9 and counting!), with company owned vs. franchise driven and with languages – english vs. regional (checked out Munnudi yet?).

Now, in a move designed to get the good folks at Prestige Shantiniketan read even more, we’ve added a reading lounge to our (belonging to our Whitefield cluster) library there!

JustBooks lounge @ Prestige Shantiniketan has comfortable seating and a copy of the latest magz and all types of newspapers for in-room reading. To make it democratic and inviting to all, even non-JustBooks members can enrol for lounge access by paying annual fees of 1000. Howzzatt for equal access? Regular JustBooks members can access the lounge free of cost when they sign on for half yearly and yearly plans.
At 600 sqft, it can seat 15 members comfortably. We have provided for a coffee vending machine, a small pantry and kids activity (watch out for summer programme announcements) area too! Check out pictures of the place:

Who says nothing in life is free? Here’s your chance to read books – upto 4 of them – in a month from the date of your registration at ZERO ( just a security deposit to cover the books being borrowed by you, though!) cost. This is a trial offer and you are free to either continue or discontinue the service, depending on your choice! Freedom of choice too! What’s more, you can get the books door delivered, across our library network. Freedom of movement even!

This is too good a chance – dear reader – for you to miss! Sign up now. Click on this link for full details.

Here’s an image too of the trial offer:

Joy, boundless Joy

Well we can’t help but agree with Ambika Ananth who, in her article ( the ‘middle’ ) ‘The joy of reading‘  in today’s Deccan Herald exclaims:

The most momentous, wonderful and worthy are the things we call books.

Well, we can’t help but agree especially considering that we have over 500,000 books in our inventory across all our 55+ libraries.

That’s a lot of joy to our members!

:)
