Storm in a teacup?

Times are tough. First it was the recession affecting everyone’s mood; now, it’s inflation. Prices are spiraling beyond control. Wallets are emptying out faster – there’s “too much month at the end of the money” as somebody mentioned to us. In short, many folks cannot remember a time they have experienced like this.

So, when an author expresses a sentiment like the one below, its nice to know that someone empathizes, right?

……..this is especially true these days, when prices have soared and soared and taken along with them, far out of the reach of many of us, certain articles of food which we heretofore have always felt were quite necessary to us.

Only, the sentiment is extracted from the preface of the book ” The Khaki Kook Book” by Mary Kennedy Core published by the Abingdon Press in 1917 !!!!

That makes you feel better already, right?
