Does crime pay?

Well, it just might in the short term but eventually one gets caught and then, well, one will have the luxury of time to ponder over that question & other existential dilemmas. Anyway, this is not quite a forum to discuss issues such as these.

We ask the question with reference to an article that posed a similar question in The Australian by Graeme Blundell.

Apparently, crime pays.  Well, at least, to authors who pen crime fiction. Apparently,

many (authors) are making a mint out of their increasingly violent characters’ nefarious, clandestine activities.

But what caught our eye in the article are names such as Stieg Larsson, Thomas Harris, Mario Puzo, James Patterson, Lee Child, Harlan Coben, Tess Gerritsen, John Grisham etc. We checked such names in our shelves and lo & behold, we have every one of them. Here’s proof:

The only book we could not showcase to you here are the Millenium series by Stieg Larsson. All of them were borrowed, atleast in the Frazer Town Library where the above pics were taken. But hey, as we’ve mentioned earlier, with one membership, you have access to all books in all our libraries and to shift a book from another location is child’s play for us.

After all, at JustBooks library, we are intent in proving to you one important thing:

Membership pays!!!!
