Remembering Kafka

Today is the birthday of

one of the most influential fiction writers of the early 20th century; a novelist and writer of short stories whose works, only after his death, came to be regarded as one of the major achievements of 20th century literature. (Source: Wikipedia)

Franz Kafka was born in July 3rd 1883. His unique body of writing much of which was published posthumously is considered to be among the most influential in Western literature.

Many of Kafka’s writings such as The Trial (1925), Amerika (1927), as well as short stories including The Metamorphosis (1915) can be found in the JustBooks Library, in addition to a single book (by Vintage) of all his novels.
