Author Sabah Carrim visits 3 JustBooks libraries in Bangalore

Sabah Carrim is a first time author, her debut novel being “Humeirah, a story of Existence, Beauty & Wisdom’. While not writing, Sabah  is a philosophy enthusiast. Currently adviser to two major international journals, she is also editor of a few academic as well as literary magazines and journals in Malaysia. Her interests lie principally in the connection between writing and self-actualization.

Sabah’s  passion for interdisciplinary studies reveals itself in both her fiction and non-fiction work.  She has been instrumental in establishing a meaningful connection between law, literature, the arts and philosophy. An avid reader herself, she enjoys the works of German and French writers and takes solace in the works of Friedrich Nietzsche, Arthur Schopenhauer, Fyodor Dostoevsky and Hannah Arendt.  She currently resides in Kuala Lumpur where she teaches law and human rights.

Sabah is a person of Indian origin, her mother hails from Bangalore.  During a recent visit to the city, she took some time out to come over to 3 of our libraries – Langford Road, Koramangala and Banashankari – and spent time with our members. Here are some pictures of the events:
